First Visit

Have you ever been in a social situation where you don’t know what to expect, or what’s expected of you?  A first-time visit to a doctor’s office can often lead to feelings of apprehension and nervousness.  With that in mind, we hope the following will help to alleviate some of that anxiety during your first visit to Broman Chiropractic and Wellness Center.

Paperwork

On your initial visit to our clinic we will have you complete New Patient paperwork, including both health history and present health concerns.  This information is crucial in helping us determine the best course of care for you.  We will copy your insurance card for verification and benefits. The information we receive from your insurance company will be conveyed to you in a one-on-one financial consult early in your care.  We do our best to make sure there are no surprises.

Consultation

Once you complete your paperwork, you’ll meet with Dr. Broman or Dr. Burckhardt and discuss your health concerns.

Examination

Following the consultation, the doctor will perform a thorough chiropractic, orthopedic, physical and neurological examination.  The purpose of this examination is to determine if you are a good candidate for chiropractic care. When required, x-rays will be taken at our office to get a closer look at the potential cause of your problem.

Treatment

Treatment may begin on your first visit or, if the doctor would like to further review your medical records or read x-rays, treatment may be scheduled for the next day, or later that same day.

Finances

If you have any questions or concerns regarding clinic charges or insurance coverage, we will be happy to discuss these matters with you.
